Hi Suzanne,

How great to hear from you!  I was just telling David last night that I wanted to send you a thank you card so it was a nice treat to see your email this morning when I got back to the office.  We just got into Seattle last night after spending the past several days packing and cleaning David’s house in Seascape.  So, we are now back in the real world and in a bit of shock…….AND exhausted.

But I did want to thank you for your tremendous support and involvement in making our wedding day so very special.  We have gotten sooooooo many compliments on all aspects of the day and we owe so much of it to you! Several compliments were on the music and I was pleasingly surprised that people really did notice some of the seemingly small nuances we added.  Examples: “loved the music playing during the ceremony”, loved the “Name that Tune”!!!, loved doing Amore”!, loved hearing the “Turtles” as they changed reception rooms, loved the girlfriend dance, and on and on and on….  The compliments made it all seem so worthwhile!

In addition to your involvement with the music, I am so appreciative of your organization and attention to detail. You also were so willing to incorporate some of my strange ideas AND your ideas to me were also extremely important.  The two most noteworthy are your suggestions to have me sing before walking down the aisle and the Sand Ceremony.

I was sharing with friends that I relied far more on you than I did the actual “Wedding Planner”. I cannot say enough about how much you helped us in “pulling this off”.  In fact, if you’d like me to do a video commercial for you, that would be far easier than trying to put this into words!!!  J

Thanks so much again for everything and I sincerely hope our paths will cross in the future.  You were unbelievably awesome!!

Wedding, Villa Ragusa, Campbell Ca.

I don't know how to put into words how pleased I was with them! The whole time I was planning, I worked with Suzanne. For the wedding itself, I had Randy.

Lets start with the planning...

Suzanne is amazing! I am completely organized and need everything to be perfectly clear (especially in planning my wedding).... she had a huge spreadsheet that was pinpointed down to minutes and laid everything out. I had to fill in what I wanted- which she completely helped me with via emails throughout the year. Everything is clear, she has great suggestions if you get stuck, but takes anything you say and doesn't try to form it to anything else. She takes no control over how things "should be" but rather adjusts the spreadsheet to the way YOU want it. She is *incredibly* prompt at e-mails, very friendly- GREAT to work with. The planning went so unbelievably smoothly by working with her.

As far as the cheesy question: in my opinion (not to be rude to the DJ industry) but I'm more of a person that would prefer a DJ to be in the background. I want someone to head up the reception- not a comedian. In the spreadsheet, Suzanne will ask you what level of DJ interaction you would prefer- she covers EVERY base.... Looking back on my wedding- it was perfect! The only time I think I heard him was when he was instructing or saying what was going on (ladies dance, etc). It was perfect! And at the same time, I honestly don't remember a time when no one was on the dance floor.

I think that covers all of the bases you asked about. Hopefully that was detailed enough. I really can't say enough good things. I was the one that had the most contact with her, but my parents told me they were just blown away on the wedding day by how great Randy was- that my dad even paid him more!

I can't say enough good things about them, really. But in all honesty- all of my vendors were unbelievable.... but out of all of them, I worked with Suzanne the most- and the wedding planning was virtually stress-less.

I can't believe that I actually get to use that saying now. Anyway hope all is well with you, Randy and your son. Here is some feed back on Morningstar Entertainment....drum roll please... First of all I have to say that I now know why I took so much time in finding the "perfect" DJ. As you know I interviewed between 15-20 different DJs from all over the Bay Area and only one suited our needs. YOU!!! I cannot thank you enough for all your help. Randy was wonderful, but of course I knew once I met you that I wanted Morningstar to be used in our wedding. You help and patience in going over every detail of the wedding reception was wonderful. You were so organized and had everything down to a "T". I appreciated this so much considering the amount of stress that this wedding caused us. I cannot believe how perfect everything went!!!

Randy was wonderful and I hope he knows it. Not only was he polite, respectful of our wishes and a pleasure to work with, but he also went the extra mile on the big day. He took everything in stride and made sure that everything was on time and consistently (but not overly consistent) checked in with us to make sure everything was ok. He made quick decisions in music choices and even made CDs of all our music to take home. In addition to the multiple CDs he made for us, he was sweet enough to think of my mom and make her a CD with a list of the music that she enjoys. WOW, that was really something!!! My family and friends enjoyed Randy's light heartedness and his professionalism. Randy truly blended in with all of my guests and followed all the instructions that we had requested. One of the greatest things that Randy did was consult the groom when a guest requested ACDC, since this was not like any other type of music that we had requested Randy found it necessary to ask for our permission. Thank God cause I would have died had it been played. Suzanne once again let me please make it clear that I am extremely happy that we chose you for such an important event. Thank you for everything and of course I will be recommending you to all my friends, most of which are already inquiring. Take care and please write back and tell me how things are going.

November 10, 2007 will be a day I will always remember. I have to say that you had a great big hand in making my day, not only perfect, but exceptional. As soon as Justin and I became engaged, I knew that MorningStar Entertainment would be my DJ of choice. You were the DJ for our good friends, Brooke and Chris Hearing’s wedding in June Lake on May 7 th , 2005. It was wonderful, and that is how I knew that you’d be perfect for our wedding. From start to finish, you made sure that every little detail went as smooth as possible. Including making sure I ate (which didn’t really seem to be a problem).

You helped us turn the tragedies in our lives surrounding our special day, into a joyous occasion. I don’t think I’ve ever experience more stress and anxiety in my entire life, than I did the days leading up to the wedding. However, once that music started, I briefly dismissed the fires and deaths that were lingering in my head. It was not until the next couple days that everything had to be addressed.


I know it’s a funny way to say, but you helped make our wedding day, the only thing going on at that moment, not only with Justin and myself, but for the rest of the family and friends that were also hurting with us.

Still to this day, I have heard nothing but wonderful things about you and your work. Everyone continues to ask how I possibly found you. You will definitely come highly recommended by us and our friends and family.

Also, I would like to know if you or your company do weddings in other locations? My sister is getting married in July of 2007 (if you're not booked yet) in Camarillo CA. It would be great if you had someone who could speak Spanish and English too. Well, let me know. She really enjoyed what you did at our wedding and she requested you!

I wanted everyone to have fun, including me. Suzanne's energy is great. She's very likeable I remembered her from a friends wedding & totally connected when I met her one on one. She's going to DJ a reception of another friend this coming weekend. Suzanne was at our reception site when I got there, cocktail music already playing and she was the first person to greet meshe ran up quickly to tell me something important (I cannot remember for the life of me what that was!!). It was wonderful to arrive and know that everything was going well. After all the hard work planning, I loved that I could relax and have fun. My biggest concern in picking a DJ was the music choices. My family is from the country (Merced area) and are farmers & cowboys. My husbands family is Middle Eastern. Our friends our mostly from the city. We had a lot of different types to work with. Suzanne told me it's her job to read the crowd. She did a great job mixing things up so there was something for everyone. The music flow was perfect. I absolutely recommend her.

Hello Suzanne,

We are so happy that you were part of our wedding and helped create such a wonderful day. We trusted you and Randy as friends and family, not just as a vendor. Your work is truly from passion and made our wedding very special. All of our guests couldn't stop talking about the special touches (ie: reception entrances being unique for each wedding party couple, top gun serenade, and the fact that you were on top of your game the entire
day/night).

You were flexible to add our grandmother to the line‐up, spontaneous
honeymoon money dance, and help with keeping our events running smooth and on time! We should've hired you as the coordinator, as well! :) You treated Jerry and I like a King and Queen...and believe me when I say that I will spread your name around like wild fire! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for making our celebration into a fiesta that we will never forget!
